How to get brand deals on Instagram in India (even with a small account)
What brands actually look for, how to build a media kit, and how to pitch without sounding like everyone else.

Instagram Followers · Real-looking, Indian and non-drop followers that start within minutes.OrderYou don't need a million followers to get paid by brands. Plenty of Indian D2C brands prefer nano and micro creators, accounts between 5,000 and 50,000 followers, because they're cheaper and their audiences trust them more.
What brands check
- Niche fit. Does your audience match their customer?
- Engagement. Real comments and saves, not just likes.
- Story views. Often the first screenshot they ask for.
- Content quality. Can you make something they'd happily repost?
- Professionalism. Do you reply on time and deliver what you promised?
Build a simple media kit
One page, in a PDF or Canva link:
- Who you are and what you post (one paragraph)
- Followers, average Reel views, average story views, engagement rate
- Audience split: top cities, age, gender (from Insights)
- Two or three past collaborations or best-performing posts
- Your rates or "rates on request"
Pitching
Brands get hundreds of "hi, collab?" DMs. Stand out by being specific:
"Hi, I make 30-second skincare routines for oily skin, mostly for women 18–25 in Mumbai and Pune. My last three Reels averaged 22K views. I'd love to show your niacinamide serum in a 'before college' routine. Media kit attached."
Before you pitch, check your numbers
If your follower count, story views and engagement are lopsided, brands notice. Many creators tidy up their profile before a pitching season, with story views, likes on recent posts and a follower boost to cross a threshold like 10K.
The content still has to be good. But a profile that looks established gets replies.
